To whom it may concern
Churches Together Lymm and District (CTLD) wish to hold a short service at
Lymm Cross on Good Friday to celebrate this important event in the Christian
We expect about 100 people from all the churches in Lymm to gather at about
12pm for 30 minutes. The event will be marshalled and is not expected to
interrupt road traffic or any of the normal access to shops or other amenities.
WBC have told us they have no objection subject to us advising local people
who may be affected. This notice is to provide that notification.
Objections or concerns may be lodged by email to:

leave a written note at the Lymm Business Centre (upstairs in the library
annex) addressed to the Chair, Churches Together Lymm and District by the
Over the Lent period a number of churches in Lymm & District will be running an evening service as follows (all very welcome):
4 March 7pm – St Peters
11 March 7pm – Cherry Lane Sion Independent Methodist church (with Life church)
18 March 7pm – St Mary’s Iona Evening Service
25 March 7pm – Lymm Baptist Church
1 April 7pm – – St Winefrides RC Church

Look out for our very own Tale of St Mary’s Lymm , Monty and Bertie to the Rescue. Written by one of our congregation, this Christmas tale of the church mouse and the church bat, for children young and old, will be available to buy at our Christmas tree Festival. It will make a super stocking filler together with a hand-made mouse or bat!
Why not follow our Mouse trail to find out where Monty is hiding.
Also on sale will be homemade preserves, and Christmas cakes, presents and decorations.
Tea, coffee and homemade cakes will be available in the Festival Café throughout the weekend, with soup and sandwiches served on Saturday and Sunday between 12 and 2.
Entry is free
Rev Bev will be leading the procession through Lymm to St Mary’s church for a 10.00am service followed by an act of remembrance at the War Memorial in the churchyard. We have some of our poppies on display from last year. please come along to this special service
Come along to St Mary’s Church, Higher Lane, in the day on Friday 30th November and right through the weekend 1st-2nd December.
In summary, it will be a great weekend.
